We are ...
... gym rats, yoga junkies, fitness freaks and running fools. We are constantly in motion as we strive to live a rich, full life with friends and family. The clothes we wear reflect the authentic, functional style of our active lives. From carpool to morning run, fitness session or yoga class. Then out the door (no shower) to run all over town, in/out, up/down ... the movement is non-stop, so we want to be comfortable, but with style!

It’s all about performance, but don’t sacrifice the style. Every brand you find at Asana Activewear is tested by us before we bring it in the store. Long runs, hard-core conditioning classes, hot flow yoga classes ... we put them through the ringer, because style without substance is no style at all.

Asana is the Sanskrit word for "pose" or the postures performed in the practice of yoga. But more broadly defined, Asana is ... "a process that leads to steadiness of body and mind providing a sense of well being."

Asana's inaugural store is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was designed to be a warm, inviting space, with smooth lines, vibrant colors, warm lighting and a logical layout to make navigating the 30+ brands of activewear efficient and enjoyable.

Connecting the Active Community
Living an active life and being a part of the active community is what really gets us excited. We want to help this community grow by celebrating the people, studios and gyms that help define it. We also hope to make it more connected by offering free resources to find out what’s happening via our Community Calendar and Announcements.
Community Calendar and Announcements
We provide a free Community Calendar for yoga & pilates teachers and studios, fitness gyms and instructors, coaches, personal trainers and wellness professionals, where they can post events and Announcements for free.
Community Directory
We also provide a Community Directory, where studios & gyms and instructors, trainers and coaches can post profiles for free.
Community Events
We host and sponsor a wide variety of events, most notably our "Yoga Jam," which brings together all of the studios in Charlotte into one venue for an entire day of yoga - 20 different classes taught by 11 different studios.
We also host a "Summer Bootcamp Series", in which people participate in a small group strength & conditioning class taught by some of the city's finest personal trainers.
Hero of the Month
Our "Hero of the Month" program helps celebrate the people who are around us everyday that help us to reach our goals and nurture our active life; the instructors, trainers, coaches and friends who inspire us.
